As you’ve probably seen over on my Instagram, I absolutely love a face mask! I was recently sent these BuBu Skincare sheet masks*, and thought I’d write a little review.
BuBu stands for Be U, Be Unique. They offer a range of masks to suit skin types, as everyone’s skin is different! BuBu Skincare is a cruelty free, environmentally friendly brand, at least as far as single use masks can be! They use recycled packaging for deliveries and the sparkles in the masks are safe for the environment.

I was sent the #stripitoff exfoliating mask and the #t-spot blemish busting mask.
#t-spot Blemish Busting Mask
I loved the #t-spot blemish busting mask, which definitely soothed my skin. As I have very sensitive skin, I’m always careful about what skincare I use. This mask contains Niacinamide (a form of Vitamin B3) which helps to control excess sebum, and Pro Vitamin B5 (helps the skin repair). You can use the leftover serums as a primer too! I love using sheet masks as a primer before a night out because it just preps your skin perfectly.

#stripitoff Exfoliating Mask
The #stripitoff exfoliating mask is something different. I’ve never tried one life this before, so I was really excited to see how it performed! It contains Charcoal, Clay and AHAs to help get rid of dead skin cells. A good base is essential for easy makeup application, but definitely remember to put on SPF if you use this in the morning! AHAs can make your skin more prone to burning as the skin is much more sensitive.
These masks are £7 each and available on BuBu Skincare and Pretty Little Thing. I think they’re perfect as a little pick me up for your skin!

Do you think you’ll try these Bubu Skincare sheet masks out? If you feel like checking out some more of my posts, why not see what I’ve got planned for 2020 here?
