‘Walking in a Winter Wonderland…’ It’s that time of the year again, where Hyde Park becomes home to a huge Christmas market complete with fair rides and food stalls.

We have a little tradition of visiting Winter Wonderland every Christmas with our friends who live across the country. You can read a little more about last year’s trip here. I’ve put together 5 of my top tips for organising a stress-free trip to London’s Winter Wonderland.

No 1 | Download the App! The app is free and the map is great for finding your way around Winter Wonderland. You can also check what food is available if you’re travelling with any food allergies or intolerances.

No 2 | Take out cash in advance! While most of the stalls do take contactless, if you’re worried about using your card there, and don’t want to pay extra to use the cash machines, make sure you take out some in advance.

No 3 | Book Ice Skating early! These experiences book up quickly and you don’t want to miss out by turning up on the day.
No 4 | Visit before Christmas! We usually try to visit the last week of November as you can avoid the opening crowds and the millions of tourists visiting closer to Christmas.
No 5 | Try all the food stalls! My fave stall there sells mini pancakes covered in Nutella and icing sugar. There’s also lots of local food stalls that sell great burgers and curries.
