It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and I am SO excited to get festive! I’ve written up my December to-do list to help me get organised. I worked Christmas Day last year and it spoilt the celebrations for me a bit, so I’m making the most of this festive season!
Sort out my travel plans | We’ve literally just got home from our annual trip to London’s Winter Wonderland (previous posts about that here!) and I’m feeling Christmassy! We love London in the winter, from seeing the streets lit up, to trying festive food at the market stalls. My boyfriend’s family live about 4 hours away from mine, so we’re in the middle of co-ordinating who’s visiting where and when.
Decorate our first home | I’ve been pretty quiet about this but my boyfriend and I bought our first home together earlier this year, and I am over the moon to be able to decorate! While there are lots of blog posts coming about being a first time home owner and our tips and tricks for moving, we’re focusing on decorating for Christmas on a budget first. I’ve been bauble hunting for a while and found some absolute gems at Next and The Range. We also picked up the most Christmassy starry duvet from Debenhams in the Black Friday sale!
Send out Christmas cards | I know this is usually the first thing most people do once December hits, and between shifts and looking for a house last year, it just fell by the wayside. I picked up some cute charity cards yesterday and they’re next on my December to-do list after publishing this post!
Blogmas! | I managed to complete Blogmas my first year of blogging and it was a challenge! Last year I just didn’t have time, so this year I’m organising myself better and aiming to post at least every other day. Fingers crossed I manage 24 posts in 24 days though! I have some amazing gift guides and recipes coming soon.
Sort my winter wardrobe | Living in Wales, you’d think I’d have enough cold weather outfits but my coats are worn out and the cat has snagged holes in lots of my tights and jeans. I’ve recently picked up a gorgeous black trench coat from New Look reduced to £22! I also have a huge pile to go on eBay and another for the local charity shop.
Let me know how your December to-do list is going!
