Welcome to Dose Of B 2.0! I’ve taken a couple months off lately as I’m settling into my new job after graduating. Something new for the blog is a monthly blogger interview where you can find out more about some of the best bloggers out there!
To kick off my series, I’m SO happy to be interviewing the lovely Christy from Style Rarebit. Christy was one of the first bloggers I met when I started, and has always been super supportive! I’ll link her social medias down below so you can check her out for yourself – she has the best sense of style and I love her photography!
Why did you start blogging?
I started my first blog at uni to help me get a job in fashion. I soon got into it a lot more and started Style Rarebit. My old blog was mainly runway photos so it was scary posting pictures of myself at first.
When did you start blogging?
I think about 4 years ago in 2014, as I hadn’t long graduated and needed something creative to do!
What’s your favourite blogging experience so far?
There are so many! I think just meeting all the other bloggers, especially in Cardiff, has been really amazing. It’s so worth writing a blog just to meet like minded people. Working with brands has been a really big achievement for me too. One of the craziest was probably being invited to a Netflix event, as it was a major pinch me moment.
What’s the post you’re most proud of?
This is so hard and it changes all the time but I think it’s a post titled ‘When am I going to make it?’ It’s the most personal but it resonated with a lot of my followers and it was good to get it out.
What advice would you give to newer bloggers?
Literally just start a blog. The only way to learn is to keep posting and trying new things as the industry changes all the time. I would say that it’s really important to get yourself involved in the industry though and go to events with other bloggers so that you’re always in the loop about new trends.

I hope you enjoyed this little interview with Christy – there’s plenty more to come! This seemed to be such a great way of both supporting my faves while *hopefully* helping you learn more about the behind the scenes of blogging. I’m hoping to complete one interview a month. If you want to know a little bit more about Dose Of B, my latest post here should help!
