I’m reviewing the Hand Wash from ‘What’s In It For Me?’ today on Dose Of B, and this is one I was really excited to try. I’ve previously reviewed the Body Scrub which you can read all about here. As a student, I usually tend to go for whatever’s on sale or fits my budget. Every now and again, I love to treat myself to a little something extra, whether that’s nicer shampoo or a hair mask! I was recently contacted by the team at What’s In It For Me to review their Hand Wash*. It’s definitely something I could see myself splurging on as a treat.
The brand is completely cruelty free, as well as being a sister brand to Anatomicals! You can check out my previous thoughts on their products here. Their range is created to appeal to your self-indulgent side because everyone needs a treat now and again!
Hand Wash // What’s In It For Me
I’m pretty picky when it comes to scents. I don’t like overly sweet or floral ones when it comes to body washes and soap. I feel as though they can be a bit overpowering, and usually lean more towards citrus scents for skincare. Usually, I prefer to save all those floral fragrances for my perfume! The hand wash contains a blend of lemon & lime essential oils, which creates a really lovely fresh scent.
I always used to use a moisturiser a friend gave me before, which contained pure aloe vera. It was incredible and I used it to death! Since then, I’ve always kept my eyes out for products containing aloe vera because I know my skin gets on really well with it. I was really happy to see that this hand wash contains aloe vera. It also has ginger extract in it, which is supposed to cleanse and protect the skin.
This hand wash retails for £7 for 250ml on Harvey Nichols – I’ve linked it here if you want to check it out! I completely get that £7 is a little more than you’d expect for a hand wash, but I found that this one is lasting pretty well so far. I think that it’s a great little treat to add a bit of luxury to your daily routine, and would make a great present.
