You all know how much I love Sleek, so I was really excited to receive some of their Christmas collection to review! I’ve reviewed some of their previous collections here and also went to their launch night in London earlier this year – you can read all about that here. Their lip products are fantastic as well as their cult highlight palettes!
I -Divine Eyeshadow Palette in Spirit Animal*
I use one of their eyeshadow palettes pretty much everyday (New Romance I think?) as it’s perfect for a neutral eye look. I’ve been looking forward to trying this one as it has a couple more vibrant shades and would look amazing for a night out. This one does have good pigmentation like my previous one but I’m not sure how wearable the shades are on a daily basis. I don’t think this is one I would reach for every day but it’s definitely good if you want a more vibrant look! This is available on Sleek for £8.99, not too bad a price for the quality and amount of shades you get.
Birthday Suit Pout & Polish*
I’ve never tried Sleek nail polish so was surprised at how good this one was! It’s a gorgeous neutral pinky shade that looks really subtle & elegant on your nails. This set also has one of their Ultra Smooth Matte Lip Creams in a matching shade to the nail varnish. I’ve tried their lip products before and really enjoy using them as they don’t dry out my lips. I think this is a perfect little gift set – it would be amazing as a Secret Santa present! This set is £8.50 so pretty good for two full size products.
Matte Me Must Haves*
First things first, this set is only £6!!! I think that’s amazing for 4 mini shades of their matte lip creams – I’ve only tried the shade Birthday Suit before now so was really excited to try out the new shades! The shades in this set are Birthday Suit, Rioja Red, Velvet Slipper & Old Hollywood (my new favourite!). I think this is one of my favourite Christmas sets so far, especially considering how affordable it is!
Pout 4 Perfection*
This is definitely the winner of the Sleek Christmas sets! It’s a cute set containing a highlighting palette in Solstice and a metallic lip cream in Roman Copper (I’ve reviewed this shade before here if you want to read a more in depth review!). It’s only £12.50 and seeing as the highlighting palette is £10 on it’s own. This set is one of the better value ones I’ve seen this year, as you’re definitely getting your money’s worth!
Hella Good Eyes*
Okay, I’m going to be 100% honest – I don’t know how good the value of this set is. It’s £16 for 2 eyeshadow palettes which is pretty good normally. However, seeing as they’re £8.99 each, you’re saving a grand total of £1.98! I think they should either have included another palette for say, £20, or thrown in 2 shades of lip colours as well (maybe one that matches each palette?). I do like the eyeshadows that Sleek do, and these are the same high quality of the ones I already own. It’s just value for money here that I’m thinking about – student life.
