Cruelty Free Beauty & Skincare Brands | 2017

Hey everyone! Supporting cruelty free brands is incredibly important to me and many others in the beauty community, so below is a list of popular beauty brands that are happily cruelty free. There are three main ways for a brand to be truly cruelty free:

  1. Brands who have signed a pledge with PETA
  2. Companies and Brands who are approved by Leaping Bunny
  3. Newer Brands who haven’t been certified but do not test on animals nor sell products in China

Some of the companies noted are owned by companies such as Loreal so I’m not sure they can be classed as truly cruelty free. Ultimately I guess it’s up to the individual but when compiling lists like this it might be an idea to add the information so that no-one is accidentally misled.

This is such a useful list! I’ve been switching to cruelty-free cosmetics and it can be such a challenge finding out if a brand is cruelty-free or not. Thanks for this!
