MakeupForever Aquamatic Eye Shadow | Review

I’ve been wanting to try MakeupForever products for a while now but they used to be difficult to get hold of in the UK. Luckily they are now available in stores like Debenhams across the country. I found this eye shadow stick in TK Maxx for only £4.50 (they usually retail at £16) so it was a steal! They have lots of different shades available to choose from, which I found hard because I wanted them all! The store I went to also carried mascaras and eyeliners from MakeupForever. I absolutely love eye shadow crayons as they’re so easy to use and great for travelling!

I love the shade – it’s a metallic pink which swatches beautifully and brings out blue eyes really well. It has such a creamy consistency and glides on easily. I like using this either to line under my eyes or as a base shade on my eyelid.  It’s waterproof and smudge proof, and really does have good staying power. It comes in 12 different shades on the website, from bright colours to neutrals.

It was really good value for money so I’ll be keeping my eyes out to try any new products from MakeupForever. It’s normally a bit out of my price range but I’m good at sale shopping! This shade will match some of my new nail polishes perfectly – you can read all about them here.
